WHO IS MOLLY?
I am deeply curious about you.
My Dad always said to me…
“Molly all you ever owe anyone is the truth.” The truth means, showing up as I am, following my gut and working hard. It’s not always easy, I make mistakes and have had real failures, but it became the throughline of everything I try to be.
MY STORY
I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, Irish Catholic, one of five kids. We were not perfect (what family is?) but we were rooted in faith and a whole lot of laughter, and we told it like it was. That upbringing gave me a compass that has never let me down.
That compass led me to leave the Midwest, study in Arizona, and eventually call Colorado, Montana, California, Barcelona, and now Bend, Oregon home. I have traveled the world with an adventurous spirit, and every place I have landed has deepened my understanding of what it means to be human.
WHAT HAVE I DONE
That spirit and that commitment to truth led me to become a licensed therapist, two-time TEDx speaker, published author of Cracking Open and Trust Within, host of the Cracking Open Podcast, and a sought-after speaker for companies like Apple and Linkedln. For 25 years I have worked in education, mental health, and human transformation. I once even got to meet the Dalai Lama. That happened.
But the titles I am most proud of? Mom to Tommy and Cora. Wife to Adam.
THE REAL STUFF
I have also known loss. Both of my parents died too young. Friends, too. I struggle with anxiety and have fears around my kids that keep me up at night. I am human, messy, and real, and I know what it takes to get up off the floor again and again. That is not weakness. That is the very thing that allows me to show up for you the way I do.
HOW I SHOW UP FOR YOU
I am deeply curious about you. My husband jokes that I learned more about his lifelong friend in an elevator ride than he had in years. I love the underneath of the underneath, because that is where real human connection lives. In 25 years of sitting with people in their most honest moments, I have learned that all anyone truly wants is to love and be loved. Your real story is where the gold is. And I was born to help you find it.
